Cannot Open or Access Your C: Drive Fix

If you are having problems opening your C: drive or any other drive and the OPEN option is not there and gives you the EXPLORE or OPEN WITH option only then this is how to fix it.

• Go to you Control Panel and choose Folder Options--> choose View --> check Show Hidden Files and Folders--> uncheck Hide Protect Operating System files (Recommend) --> click OK. You should now be able to see any hidden files and they will have a transparent look to them.
• Right click on drive C, choose Explorer. You should see a file called autorun.inf. This is the file causing the problem and you need to delete it.
• Do step 2 with any other hard drive having the same problem.
• Now restart your computer and you should now be able to access the drives normally again.
