Follow all these steps exactly and in the correct order to fix Flash Player video streaming problems

If your Flash Player movies are streaming but the quality is poor then right click on the video and select quality and choose low.

If your player isn't working at all and you are getting prompted to download flash player when it is already installed and it still wont work. If so go to the next steps to fix it

1. Enable ActiveX  Javascript Controls by following these instructions:- Open internet explorer, select tools then internet options, click the Security tab
   1. Click on the "Internet" icon then click the Custom Level button, make sure that ActiveX controls and plug-in settings are all set to enable, if enable produces a warning colour then use the prompt icon option instead then click ok.
   2. Now click on the "Local intranet" icon next to it, click the Custom Level button, make sure that ActiveX controls and plug-in settings are all set to enable, if enable produces a warning colour then use the prompt icon option instead then click ok.
   3. Now you click on the "Trusted Sites"  icon next to it, click the Custom Level button, make sure that ActiveX controls and plug-in settings are all set to enable, if enable produces a warning colour then use the prompt icon option instead then click ok.
2. If after restarting the browser is still does not work then uninstall all other versions of flash players that appear in add/remove programs in control panel (including shockwave, macromedia or adobe entry flash players)
3. Download and run Windows Installer WinXP Clean Up, Fix and Repair and remove all entries for shockwave, macromedia or adobe flash players. Sometimes during install old version get stuck in the install process and this is the best way to remove them.
4. Download and install all of these Java Console, Flash Player and Shockwave Player

Follow these steps to fix Quicktime player green screen and other video streaming problems

1. Open your quicktime player.
2. Select the edit tab, then preferences, then quicktime preferences, then select the advanced tab, from there under the video part put a tick in the safe mode option and hit apply.
3. Select the edit tab, then preferences, then quicktime preferences, then select the streaming tab reduce the streaming speed to 56 kbps / ISDN.
4. The videos should now work without green screens or problems streaming on the internet.
