If you have annoying popups at your system tray clock telling you that your computer is infected with a virus or spyware then DO NOT download the software the pop up is advertising as it will actually infect your computer causing more harm. This is a completely FREE option that I have used to clean out many systems and removes nearly all popups, pests, spyware, adware, malware, trojans, dialers, worms, keyLoggers, hijackers, virus, parasites, rootkits and many other types of threats. Never pay for software to do this.

You may need to print off this page or add it to your favorites as you will need to restart your computer in safe mode and may lose your internet connection.

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

First make sure you are signed on as an administrator then download all the software above to your desktop.
You need to download each of the following SmitfraudFix, VundoFix, SDFix, CWShredder, SUPERAntiSpyware, Spybot Search and Destroy, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and CCleaner.
(**note - that all the software is FREE so do not pay for any extra services - they are not needed**)
Restart your computer in safe mode by tapping F8 as the computer starts up and select the same administrator account again.
You will then need to install and run all the software (***you may need to rename the .exe file to something else as some infections may actually prevent you installing genuine software using its original name***).
Once all the software has been installed and ran then restart your computer and it should now be free of infection and threats.
If you still popups appearing then make sure you have followed all the steps above and updated all the software with the latest definitions and run them again.
You are now recommended to install free virus protection and run a full scan and install free firewall (windows firewall is not enough on its own). Downloading this software will prevent your computer from re-infection. Click here to go to the free software download.
