O2 FREE SIMCARDS
O2 simcards cost about £9.99 online but you can usually get them free by
clicking here. Do not buy a simcard from any other retailer or shop
(unless it is an O2 store) as they DO NOT provide the online offers on their
cards.

19:30 to 07:30 Monday to Sunday and Offpeak Weekend is Midnight Friday

your card online with O2
here and receive extra credit and if you give them
your birth date you will receive a 50 text birthday bonus every year too.

LOST OR
STOLEN SIMCARD/PHONE FREE REPLACEMENT
If your O2
card is lost or stolen call O2 on 08705 678 678 and they will bar your simcard
and/or phone to prevent someone being able to use it. They will then post you FREE OF
CHARGE a replacement simcard and even re-activate the lost number and will transfer
automatically any outstanding balance and all offers you have set up. They cannot however
retrieve any of your stored numbers on the simcard so always keep a backup.
You should receive the new simcard within 2 or 3 days at most. I am not aware
of a time limit to retrieve the number and simcard so it is worth doing for a
card you even lost a while back.

HOW TO
FIND OUT HOW MUCH OF YOUR ALLOWANCES ARE LEFT AND YOUR TOP UP DATE
By dialling
the top up line free (4444) or holding hotkey 3 on your mobile phone and then
choosing option 2 three times. You can find out much allowance you have
remaining, your top up date and what tariff you are currently on.

TARIFFS FOR NEW SIMCARDS OR IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE TO A NEW
TARIFF
New online
tariffs are in the table below. The allowances are automatic depending on what option you
choose and the Text Anytime option is the default.
You can change your tariff once every month. All allowances are available for
a full calendar month and the day you initially top up is your anniversary
date. If you do not top up by your anniversary date you will lose and
remaining unused allowance and any text/calls will be charged for using any
available credit. As soon as you top up again after yours anniversary date
expires you will then set a new anniversary date and your allowances will
restart within 24 hours of topping up again.

**Note:- The free texts amounts are automatically decided by the amount you
have topped up in the previous month, on your anniversary date you will
automatically receive 300 free texts, if you are entitled to extra texts for
topping up by more than £10 then they will be added within 24 hours of your
anniversary date. However for first time registered cards the initial amount
of texts you receive depends on the amount you top up in the first transaction
i.e. if you want unlimited text then your first top up needs to be £30.

HOW TO
GET TEXT DELIVERY REPORTS SENT BACK WITH O2 SIM CARDS
If you don’t
follow the instructions below then you wont receive a delivery report. This is
how to set them up to know when a text message has been delivered. Before you
type a message you type *0# (it is zero not the letter O) then immediately
type the text message after it i.e. *0#see you later
your friend receives the message of just “see you later” and you get a
delivery report back. You can check it by sending yourself a test message.

and you really need to send a text saying you’re going to be late. All you have to do is call 4444
free from your mobile and select the ‘Lend Us a Quid’ option and they

- E Top Up - Your O2 E Top-Up card must be activated before you use it for
the first time. You can activate your card in two ways. The quickest way is to
key: *148*19 digit number#SEND Or call 248 free from your mobile phone and
follow the prompts to activate your card. Following the call your card will be
activated within a few minutes. Once activated, using your card couldn't be
easier. Simply hand over your card and cash, in any outlet where you see the
green Top-Up logo. Your E Top-Up card will be swiped and your mobile phone
will be automatically Topped-Up.
- Credit Card Top Up - Call the O2 Top-Up line free by using Hotkey
3 or dialling
4444 from your mobile phone or dial
local call 08456 062 277 from any landline. Have your Debit/Credit Card numbers ready and
follow the step-by-step instructions. The cards you can
use to Top-Up are Visa, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Switch/Maestro
and Solo. You can Top-Up between £10 and £30 at a time.
- Top Up Voucher - O2 vouchers are available in the following Top-Up
amounts: £10, £15 and £20; and come in two forms. In the past, if you bought
an O2 voucher you would've been given a physical, plastic card with a
scratch-off silver panel that concealed a voucher number. Now you can also buy
an O2 Top-Up voucher in the form of a printed till receipt that has the
voucher number printed on it. They're still called O2 Top-Up vouchers but
they're produced electronically. Both forms of O2 Top-Up voucher work the same
way. To use a voucher - Call the O2 Top-Up line free
by dialling Hotkey 3 or
4444 from your mobile phone or
local call 08456 062 277 from any landline. Follow the instructions asking you to enter
your voucher number. When you hear the "Top-Up successful" message, your
call time has been credited. Something to remember about O2's new electronic
Top-Up vouchers is that they expire six months from the day they were issued,
so don't forget to load your call time within that time. Something special
about O2's physical, plastic vouchers - Once you've Topped-Up using a
physical, plastic O2 voucher, it then becomes your E Top-Up card. We'll send
you a text message within a few minutes telling you your E Top-Up card has
been activated and is ready to use to E Top-Up next time you need call time. As
an added bonus, we'll give you free call time (worth up to £5) the first time
you use your card to E Top-Up. How do I get an O2 voucher? You can buy an O2
voucher (either a physical, plastic card or a printed till receipt, or both)
from thousands of outlets across the UK displaying the green Top-Up logo.
- ATM Top Up - You can Top-Up your mobile phone at cash machines throughout
the country. Simply check the list below to see if your card issuer has
joined the service. To Top-Up, simply: Enter your bank debit card and PIN,
Select "Mobile Top-Up", Select O2, Choose your Top-Up denomination (£10,
£15, £20, £30, £40, £50), Enter your mobile phone number. You'll be asked to
enter this twice to ensure the correct mobile phone is Topped-Up, You'll then
see a Top-Up successful message on the ATM screen and you'll receive a
confirmation receipt for your records. Your Top-Up will be paid for directly
from your bank account.
- Top Up Abroad - Whenever you go abroad it's a good idea to Top-Up your
mobile phone before you leave. But if you need to Top-Up from overseas you can take an O2 voucher with you, use your
Credit/Debit Card, take your Etop up card and look for the sign, or top up
online.
