Being ScottishBeing Scottish is about driving in a German car to an Irish pub for a Belgian beer, grabbing an Indian curry or a Turkish kebab on the way home, to sit on Swedish furniture and watch American shows on a Japanese TV. Being Scottish you can get a pizza to your house faster than an ambulance. Being Scottish supermarkets make sick people walk to the back of the shop to get their prescriptions while smokers can buy cigarettes at the front counter. Being Scottish people order double cheeseburgers, large fries and a DIET Irn Bru or even a deep fried Mars Bar. Being Scottish banks leave both doors open and chain the pens to the counters. Being Scottish we leave cars worth thousands of pounds on the driveway or street and lock our junk and cheap lawn mowers in the garage. |
